In the remote teaching format, it was possible to continue the school calendar, in which information are transmitted between teachers and students through digital platforms that functioned as the new classrooms. In this sense, this investigation seeks to know the effects of this teaching format in a class of twenty master's students in science and humanities teaching. The perceptions of this group of participants are collected through a form containing seventeen items prepared on a Likert scale so that the respondent marks the alternative according to their level of agreement. The responses were entered into the PSPP software so that factor analysis could be performed. Four profiles were verified within the group of master's students, being with the profile with the largest number of participants is the one related to academic and health losses with remote teaching. Profiles associated with data collection in scientific production, difficulties in following the course and lack of motivation were also verified. These analyzes spark reflection to discuss mechanisms that can mitigate the effects of the pandemic on academic life.
