The article presents understandings about the conditions of access to the internet and Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) in the view of teachers in the area of Natural Sciences in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. From a diagnostic study, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, the perceptions of 35 teachers from public schools in RS were collected over the first half of 2022 in relation to possible changes in the conditions of access to DICT and the internet in the school context /school network during the pandemic. The results indicate an increase in the availability of access to the web and digital platforms at school from the moment of the Pandemic. It is also pointed out that there are still limitations in the educational context, such as: the lack of quality of the wifi network; the non-access of students to the platform; the non-availability of programs and software to teachers; lack of training at school for students and teachers with a focus on the proper use of DICT in teaching and learning activities.
