Dramatizing real-life situations allows engineering students to reflect on ethical, social, environmental, and political aspects involved in decision-making. However, there are still few studies that investigate the contributions and limitations of this methodology for the ethical training of engineers. This study examines the use of dramatized activities in the ethical training offered in engineering courses. In methodological terms, the research was a systematic review of the literature complemented by a brief bibliometric investigation of the scientific production on the use of dramatizations in the ethical training of future engineers. The analysis revealed that dramatizations promote active learning and facilitate a deeper understanding of moral issues, in addition to contributing to the development of practical and socio-emotional skills. In addition, this approach allows students to explore multiple perspectives and understand the consequences of their choices in a controlled environment. The main challenges in implementing this methodology are the need for interdisciplinary coordination, the integration of students from different courses, and the scarcity of resources and time for planning and execution.
