This work discusses the experiences about the organization and development of a congress in the remote format, promoted by the physics course of the Federal University of Acre (UFAC) during the period of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. We discussed how, based on the social isolation imposed by the pandemic, the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) allowed an entirely remote congress to be held, with lectures, mini-courses, presentations of work by students and discussions on the most varied topics of physics . Although the congress has physics as its face, the present work is an X-ray on social, inclusive, methodological-educational and interaction aspects between school and university institutions. Based on the results obtained, we analyze the impact, scope and relevance that a remote conference can promote to students, particularly in the state of Acre.
