Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are tools that can be inserted in educational processes, being necessary that teachers have the necessary skills to plan and execute the activities. In this sense, an event held at a university located in the central south region of Ceará, proposed the discussion about mathematics and technologies through lectures and mini-courses addressing the theme. Aiming to determine the profiles of the students in front of the event, a questionnaire was elaborated in Likert scale. Thirty participants answered this questionnaire and the responses were analyzed in the PSPP software. After grouping the items by factors, six profiles were identified in which the one with the highest number of students is associated with good perceptions about the event, which makes us believe that the theme is relevant and had productive dialogues during the activities. Given the above, it is understood that through factor analysis, it is possible to correlate the variables presented to the students with the factors that describe each profile.
