This article results from the clipping of a master's research, carried out in 2018, whose focus is on the perspectives of a group of Foreign Language Teachers (FLT), from the Pelotas-RS Municipal Education Network, about the Continuing Training Course based on the E-Tec Languages Program, offered in partnership between the Municipal Secretariat of Education and Sport (SMED) and the Sul-rio-grandense Federal Institute (IFSul), with the aim of enabling course-takers to include, in their classes, activities mediated by Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT). In this sense, through the application of a semi-structured questionnaire and interview, it was intended to investigate to what extent such a course contributed to the qualification of the pedagogical doing of the participating teachers. More specifically, the perspectives of such subjects, embodied in the following emerging categories, were analyzed: (i) the motivations of participating in the FL teacher training course offered by SMED, in partnership with IFSul; (ii) the new views in the face of classroom pedagogical practices through training; and (iii) the approaches of syllabus in foreign language classes after training. It is understood that, despite the obstacles reported, the referred training course has provided teachers involved collaborative spaces and fruitful moments of sharing ideas, knowledge and practices, reverberating in a glimpse of practices more consistent with the educational demands of the 21st century.
