Abstract

O solo, também chamado terra, tem grande importância na vida de todos
os seres vivos do nosso planeta.
É um recurso natural que sustenta a flora, a fauna, a agricultura, o
armazenamento da água e as obras de engenharia humana. Além de ser um
meio insubstituível para a agricultura, é também um componente vital do
agroecossistema, no qual ocorrem processos e ciclos de transformações
físicas, químicas e biológicas. Mas se for mal manejado e receber o aporte de
resíduos indesejáveis, em curto espaço de tempo o solo poderá contribuir para a degradação do ecossistema.
O enfoque do Projeto é saber que o solo é um recurso natural lentamente renovável, identificar seus tipos, características e uso correto para
evitar o seu degradamento e deteriorização.
