Abstract

Thema Magazine presents itself as an important Brazilian scientific dissemination journal and, in the year 2022, it celebrates 25 years since the release of its first number. This article deals with a qualitative investigation that analyzes the contributions made in this magazine regarding the theme Teaching Chemistry, seeking to build an answer to the following question: What is shown in publications of the Magazine Thema between the years 2012 and 2022 about Teaching of Chemistry? With this objective, a systematic literature review was developed, accompanied by Discursive Textual Analysis, in 28 productions found. It emerges from the analysis that the themes of these articles can be divided into the categories Didactic Activities in Chemistry Teaching, with 20 identified articles, and Student and Teacher Training, with 8 productions. As points that can still allow new publications, we can see the questions about inclusive teaching and discussions about didactic materials of Chemistry, including textbooks, in addition to the participation of Chemistry in the formative itineraries of the new high school.
