Abstract

The Teaching Initiation Scholarship Program aims to involve graduates in the school reality under the supervision of Basic School teachers, producing knowledge and methodological alternatives centered on a dynamic and meaningful teaching-learning. The work aims to evaluate the vision of the candidate for supervisor about his intention to work at PIBID-Química by analyzing his letter of intent, through the Discursive Textual Analysis methodology and also, to observe if his participation brought any contribution to his teacher training and to the school community, through the analysis of the answers given to an evaluative questionnaire. Eight letters of intent were analyzed that demonstrate beliefs that past professional experience is the most important factor for acting as a supervising professor and that do not present concrete proposals on how to act in the construction of ethical and methodological values. The evaluative questionnaires were answered by 7 supervisors who showed the importance of the Program in their teacher training and in the school community, through the development of differentiated activities that provided dynamism in the teaching-learning of Chemistry.
