This paper is part of a Ph.D. thesis considering the following main question: “How to use information and communication technologies, in the light of complex thinking, in the production of teaching practices that enhance the learning process in professional and technological education and, what are the reverberations arising from this movement in knowledge and in teaching practice?”. The study carried out is a research with a qualitative approach, with an exploratory objective, supported, in terms of technical procedures, by action research, based on complex thinking. Through open and complex rationality, it was possible to delineate, based on complex thinking, theoretical and methodological elements for the production of teaching practices mediated by information and communication technologies (ICT), as a way to enhance student learning, and, in a recursive logic, typical of complex thinking, to promote the analysis of the reverberations arising from this process of thinking and implementing teaching practices mediated by ICT in teaching knowledge and practice, since the movements of the action-research carried out made possible a true teacher training between pairs.
