Abstract

This article aims to analyze the literary production about the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the Brazilian educational process between the years 2020 and 2021. In this sense, the present research sought to reflect on the social inequalities evidenced in the pandemic period, the work teacher in this period and a reflective look at the challenges presented in the educational context. Based on a literature review on Google academic with the following descriptor “Education and pandemic”, a survey of articles published in 2020 until October 2021 was carried out. that contribute to the educational gap. We found 75 articles, of which 49 studies were discarded due to incompatibility of content with the objective of our research. We are left with 26 articles that we read for analysis and reflection. Based on the articles analyzed, it was found that there is a precariousness of teaching work, due to a lack of investment in adequate training/training for the use of technological tools in the classroom, constituting a new demand for education in times of pandemic. The digital divide further accentuates social inequalities. We also observed the need to create public policies aimed at the continuing education of teachers in the face of new educational demands.
