Abstract

Objective-is related to the experience of academics from the health area of ​​private institutions in carrying out scientific initiation activities (CI). This is an experience report, drawn up from the experiences of non-remunerated brokers in the research project, linked to the Scientific Initiation and Extension Program (PROICE) of the Faculdade Nova Esperança de Mossoró - (FACENE / RN) two Biomedicine courses, Farmácia e Nutrição, not a chemistry laboratory. As experiences in IC promote the stimulation of scientific thinking and the production of knowledge, favoring years of students as interpersonal relationships between the world of graduation, post-graduation and interdisciplinarity, approaching-adding more to the academic-scientific production, and by the end, domain laboratory techniques, enabling a differential in the academic and / or labor market. It was concluded that IC is an experience that is configured as a source of knowledge and practices articulated as a critical-reflective-behavioral sense in the training of new researchers to understand the relevance of research for their personal, professional life, for the scientific community ea society.
