The expansion of enrollments of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in regular schools has increased the demand for support professionals, although many school monitors take on the role with limited opportunities for specific training. This study evaluated the pilot application of a fully online training guide for school monitors, focusing on perceived usefulness and the applicability of strategies in participants' daily work routines. Fourteen monitors from municipal, state, and private schools in Bagé/RS participated in a three-module training course hosted on Google Forms. The evaluation combined pre- and post-training questionnaires with qualitative analysis of textual responses using a thematic approach. Results indicated an increase in self-assessed knowledge (mean from 7 to 9, scale 1–10), with all participants reporting feeling fully prepared and able to differentiate meltdown from tantrum, unanimous intention to incorporate visual resources and structured routines, and an overall satisfaction mean of 9. It is concluded that the online guide is a viable continuing education alternative for monitors, emphasizing practical strategies for supporting students with ASD.
